A plot & plaque for both of our home towns.

My name is Tahlia, im the Mum of Taidyn Murphy ‘Totty’ who lost her little life in a backyard drowning accident on the 19th of September she was revived and stabilised before being flown down to RBCH passing away in my arms on the 20th of September 2022, at 17 months old. (2days off being 18 months of age).

Totty’s 2nd birthday is coming up, 22nd of March and with many messages and phones calls from friends and strangers on what people can buy as presents for our daughter we thought what better way to honour her than to purchase a plot & plaque to be put in at BOTH of our home towns for our family & friends to visit, and where both of her funerals were held. 

A beautiful spot where we can go to sit with her, and a place for her big/future siblings to be able to spend time with her, sit down and just remember their beautiful sister and the memories they have of her.

Since Taidyn was a baby, we have spent many afternoons/weekends at kershaw gardens as a family and since applying for her bench seat the council denied the request as she wasn’t a ‘important citizen’ in the community ie - a police officer who lost their life on the line of work ect. 

Apart from being on my lap with her hand down my shirt every minute, her most favourite place in the world was THE PARK and having the request denied is just another gut wrenching blow. 

Her 2nd birthday party will also be held there on the 22nd of March, the day we should have been celebrating her turning 2, we will now celebrate and honour her the best way we can every year.

This would mean so much to our little family.
