FULLY FUNDED - POPPY - help with medical bills

Hi everyone!

Tesa's Rescue is raising funds to cover the medical bills for an urgent case we've recently taken on. Poppy, a sweet cat in need, requires eye removal surgery due to a painful condition.

Poppy's story began four years ago when she was found wandering the streets. Despite efforts to locate her owner, no one ever came forward, but the kind-hearted person who found her gave her a loving home. Unfortunately, that person passed away not too long ago. Thankfully, a family member stepped in and adopted Poppy. Soon after her adoption, Poppy’s new owner noticed something was wrong with her eye. A visit to the vet revealed that Poppy has glaucoma. Despite trying a few rounds of eye drops, the vet has now confirmed that surgery is the only way to relieve her pain. The cost of the surgery is £933, a sum that her owner simply cannot afford.

Desperate for help, Poppy’s owner reached out to us. We were able to step in, thanks to the incredible generosity of one of our team members, who offered a personal loan to cover the surgery costs so that Poppy wouldn't have to wait any longer. The surgery is now scheduled for next week, and Poppy’s owner is deeply relieved and thankful that she will soon be free from discomfort. She wrote to us: "I am so happy and thankful. You're making such a difference for Poppy and I appreciate it so much. I didn't think it would all happen this quickly, or if, or how much help we would get. Thank you so much to everyone!"
