Send Den Home For Christmas

I really dislike that I am having to do this but the person I am doing this for is the kindest, most generous, and loving person I know and he deserves to be with those who love him for the holidays. As an example of how giving he is, he even once sold his specially equipped van for the disabled so that he could pay for veterinary treatment for his rescue dog.
Den is family to me and mine and we love him dearly. He is very ill. He has many physical ailments but the main one is end-stage renal failure for which he requires regular dialysis.
Every year we fly Den to be with us for Christmas here in the U.K. Dialysis here is free for citizens, EU members, and those living here on a visa, like me, but for others travelling here from elsewhere there is a fee. The fee is about 1/3 of what Den is charged in the U.S. but it is still £300.00 ($365.00) per treatment.
In the past we have paid for both his flight and his treatments. He cannot go for very long without having his dialysis and we love him too much to ever put him at risk, but this year things have been very bad for us and we can only come up with the money for his flight.
We don't want him to be alone for Christmas. We never know how many there will be and we don't want him to miss any. He should be with those who love him.
We know that this is early to be asking about a Christmas issue but we have to book Den's treatment as early as possible because the holiday bookings for treatment fill up early and last year we had to call in a favour to get him in. Den will need a few (3-4) while he is here so we will need £900.00 ($1,200.00-$1,300.00)
Should we surpass the requested amount, the excess will be used for our annual tradition of buying two coats and two toys (1 boys, 1 girls) to donate to charity for Christmas, a little towards paying for Den's Christmas dinner, and to the American Kidney Fund.
We understand that people all over are having a hard time and that there are more serious causes out there, but we are hoping to get just a little help (and a little miracle) so we can bring Den to where he is loved.
