Being in financial services, we have felt a bit unsure about how we can meaningfully support our amazing frontline health professionals and the incredible work they are doing to combat COVID-19.
Thankfully, we have a client who imports medical supplies and we were able to secure some medical-grade face masks; which we know are in such limited supply across the country. Apparently the Australian Government is expecting to land about 30 million masks in 2-3 weeks, but until then, many of our medical staff and critically ill patients are going unprotected.
Yesterday, Catalyst was proud to purchase 30,000 KN95 masks to donate to our superhero doctors and nurses.
We reached out to our network on Thursday 26 March and overnight almost all of the masks have been allocated and/or delivered to those in need :)
We've been given the opportunity to secure a further allocation of 20,000 masks, but this time around we need your help to pay for them!
Or goal is to raise $100,000 so we can buy as many masks as possible.
If its $1, $10 or $10,000 every little bit will help!
Please donate what you can to keep our medical staff and the patients they treat, as safe as possible during this challenging time. You never know when you or someone you love may need the help of one of these amazing medical professionals. The funds we raise will be withdrawn by me and used to purchase KN95 masks.
Thank you and stay safe,
Jennifer Davitt and Team Catalyst
p.s. medical staff, medical centres and hospitals - reach out to us if you need a supply and didn't manage to get some free masks from us yesterday. [email redacted].au
