Chuck’s Fundraiser

As you are likely aware, YouTube deleted part 3 of my God Eaters set just a few hours after I uploaded it. This was very disappointing as it meant the vast majority of my 45,000+ YouTube subscribers did not view, nor likely even know (and still don’t know) the video was released. I was even threatened with total deletion with no hope for restoration if I uploaded just one more video the YouTube gestapo doesn’t like. This is totally unacceptable behavior, and I refuse to try and continue to compromise and censor my work to appease a master. So, I need to make big changes to continue doing my videos, and it starts here.

To begin, many wonder why I have only uploaded my videos to YouTube and have not branched out onto other less communistic video deployment sites like Rumble, X, and Odyssey. The sole reason for this, is my computer hardware is so old it cannot open those sites. The OS is no longer supported, and is not upgradable, so I can’t access the sites whatsoever. I also live remotely so without satellite connectivity, my internet is a turned down DSL (literally), and uploading videos can take from 2-3 days depending on how hard DSL feels like working on that day. My live interviews are choppy, and drop out constantly, which is extremely distracting when every word counts. My last interview I dropped out 3 times, and the video was choppy throughout. None of that is acceptable if I am going to do any of this with any kind of sincerity. The situation is no longer tenable, and if I am going to continue making such complex, long, and involved videos, while also providing interviews, I need to upgrade and expand my hardware and support options.

The solution to continue is to replace my computer, upgrade my internet to satellite (we live rurally), upgrade my phone for video access, and ability to reach social media remotely, expand past YouTube and onto other video deployment sites, and finally, to have some kind of income to help support my family since the time I spend on this work is excessive. That said, I refuse to monetize because I don’t want my video’s cluttered with commercials. Nothing is more disruptive than advertisements every 5-10 min throughout a long-winded, philosophically charged video. I also don’t want to force people to pay a subscription (like what is done at Patreon) to see my videos, because then that leaves those who cant afford to subscribe out in the cold, and that is as unacceptable as being content censored by YouTube. What I share should be free for anyone who wishes to see and hear it.

This really leaves a voluntary GoFundMe as the only viable way to make my situation tenable, while at the same time keeping my videos commercial, monetization, and subscription free. Only folks who have the means and resonate with my work should participate at the GoFundMe level. If my work opens your mind and world, or maybe has had positive effect in your life, think of me as a psychologist, and what you would pay for the information and opinion a psychologist would provide.

Handling it in this way, theres no obligation for anyone be it sitting through commercials or paying subscription fees. Everyone will have access to me, and that access will be 100% free if desired.

With this GoFundMe I will accomplish the following:

Replace my computer

Upgrade my internet to satellite to speed up connection for research, uploading, and interviews

Replace my phone for better video quality and remote research

More quickly upload uncensored long form, high resolution videos to Rumble, X, and Odyssey

Improve and stabilize my live interview connection

Offer a way for folks to tangibly support my work if they wish

No longer censor my videos for YouTube or FaceBook gestapo

Upgrade and upload my audiobook in less portions with better labeling.

I also plan on uploading some video’s YouTube deleted the moment I released them. Basically, nobody has seen them and they contain relevant and viable material.

Finally, I’ve already de-censored part 3 and will upload an updated version to kick off the new sites once I’m able to raise some funds.

This is a win-win for everyone: everyone can see my content without need for paying to access it or sit through commercial beat downs, I get the equipment I need to remain relevant and effective, my family gets the support I’ve earned, you get *uncensored* content you want from a more stable and fair platform, and those who have the means can support me in a tangible way that makes a difference and is helpful to not just me, but everyone as the end result will expand and improve.

Help me by sharing my videos in your circle of influence, like my videos on the platforms where I post them, subscribe to my platforms, write positive comments, and follow me on X while liking, and reposting my video links there. Everyone together can make a huge difference without pain by participating at the level that is best for them.

I’m starting the fundraising goal at $10,000, but will leave this GoFundMe page open if giving surpasses the goal (I dare to dream!) as a means of an ongoing support option for my video and writing and interviewing efforts.
