Jeannie’s Surgery Recovery

Hi, I’m Jeannie’s brother Darren. I’ve started this Go Fund Me to help my little sister in the next few months as she undergoes and recovers from a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction.

She was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer on June 22, 2022. She received 6 rounds of strong chemotherapy over 18 weeks. She responded well to the treatment, but the doctors still recommend, for precautionary sake, that she proceed with the mastectomy. 

This was expected to happen in mid-December but is now scheduled for February 22nd. 

She has not been able to work throughput treatments, so I am hoping this will help get her through the next few months so she can heal and recover before returning to work. We all know she is too proud and stubborn to ask for any help, so I am doing it for her.
