CJ STRONG!
CJ Strong!
As a family we are here to share CJ’s story and to be the army he needs behind him every step of the way.
A few weeks ago, CJ started finding it difficult to digest food, as it would sit in his stomach for hours upon hours. He adjusted his diet and tried to fix the issue, but it only got worse.
On Monday, he checked into the hospital and the initial prognosis was that his gallbladder may have had a blockage with a stone and they got him right in to surgery.
That is where they discovered he has what is called duodenal adenocarcinoma, a very rare form of intestinal cancer. It begins in the duodenum, the top section of the small intestine and has spread to other parts including the liver.
CJ was in a NH hospital and has been transferred on February 13th to Brigham & Women’s.
We are still in the treatment plan process at this time and looking to get him in to the best care possible. We are asking for support during this difficult time to help CJ in anyway. We all know the cost of living can be outrageous and adding any medical treatment/expenses on top can be hectic. All donations will be contributed directly to CJ’s medical treatment and living costs.
CJ’s sister Lauren, will be personally withdrawing/handling funds into an account made specifically for the donations, that will be directly sent to CJ. This may not be the road he was planning to go down but we genuinely appreciate every single person who is there to support him. We will update you all as soon as we know any further information.
We love you and thank you all ❤️
