Grassel Family Housefire

Those who know Ba and Rhonda Grassell, know they would give the shirt off their backs to anyone in need, especially friends and family. They are now in need of our help. Let's all come together and show them the love they've shown us.

Late Friday night, October 7, 2022, just before Rhonda was headed for bed, the chimney in the Grassell family home caught fire and filled their home with smoke. By the time the fire department arrived, the fire had spread into other areas of the home. There was extensive fire, smoke, and water damage to their home. While the family and pets all made it out safely, they suffered a great loss. This tragic event has left them all but homeless. Things will get worse for them before it gets better, as it typically takes a year to years before the insurance starts paying out any money. While waiting for their house to be repaired, they will have to fork out tons of cash to pay for contractors, making day-to-day living difficult. They will likely have to relocate, which will more than double their usual living expenses until the home is repaired. Sadly, some of you completely understand the situation due to having been through it yourselves, but for those who haven't, please know that they truly need our help right now. To add insult to injury, Rhonda broke her foot the same night with a non-weight-bearing fracture, which inflates the issue.

Please help me to help them get through this. The Grassels would do the same for us and have for many.
