Please help us bring our boy home
Dear friends,
We are in disbelief of the loss of our beautiful son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew and friend, Jackson James Stacker. Our hearts are
forever broken. Jackson went missing last month, July, in New South Wales. After an extensive search, his remains were found at Sleepy
Hollow, Northern Rivers, near Byron Bay.
We are forever grateful to the community, our friends, family and the Byron / Tweed Heads Police who tirelessly searched for him.
This is our, and any parents' worst nightmare, further complicated by Covid, restrictions, physical and police and forensics. We feel greatly for the other families of missing loved ones in the Byron area and our hearts and love go out to other grieving families.
Jackson was a pure and beautiful, free spirit; a dedicated animal and nature lover; a short part of his unfinished story. We can only hope his passing was serene, in keeping with his love of the peace, people and nature, he sought out in his short life.
Jackson was a passionate sponsor and supporter of The Wilderness Society; any surplus funds would be donated to his cause here:
https://www.wilderness.org.au/
We as a family, wish to bring him home to Victoria, from beautiful Byron Bay area, as soon as possible; to tuck him in safely for his eternal
sleep near his Mum and Dad, brothers and extended family. We know Jackson was trying to get home to Melbourne, but border
restrictions proved this impossible.
Your donation will assist us in transferring Jackson from NSW to Melbourne to lay him to rest; It will help us with a burial plot, headstone,
funeral service, coffin, celebrant, streaming of the service to family & friends who can not to attend due to Covid; We are planning a
memorial book documenting his life adventures which we will share with all.
If you might find it in your hearts to help us out, to bring our beautiful boy home, whilst we come to terms with our devastating loss we will be forever grateful. Much love, Sandey, Ian, Oscar, Harley, Kate, Angus, Dash, and Jackson who, would be overwhelmed with
gratitude to see the outpouring of love at his passing.
Thank you very much for sharing; Sandey and family.
