Babe Lincoln Strong

Our sweet little boy Lincoln has been diagnosed with cancer.  He had been acting lethargic so we took him to the doctors for what we thought might be an ear infection (he wasn't complaining of anything hurting, and often doesn't with ear infections). Once in the office, the P.A. ruled out an ear infection and strep but noticed his belly was distended so ordered an ultrasound.

Between the ultrasound and x-ray,  it was determined that Lincoln had a large mass on his kidney and we headed to Johns Hopkins Childrens Hospital.   After a CT scan, bloodwork, biopsies and a week to determine the results, we are left with the diagnosis of High Risk Neuroblastoma

Lincoln has been through quite a bit during the last two weeks including his first round of chemo.   We have a long uncertain road ahead of us, but everyone is remaining hopeful.  

The love and support that we have received has been tremendous. This GoFund me page was created to help us with his medical expenses as well as the numerous unexpected costs that have come up as we manage through a process that is new to all of us.
