Baby Albie George Daren Vine

Hi I never thought I’d ever be setting up a page like this but here I am.

On 14th April 2024 the most precious little boy entered this world at 24weeks and 1 day gestation .

His beautiful mum needed emergency surgery straight after and then instead of recovering she hit the floor running with his Dad by her side and they were now parents of a Nicu baby and transferred within a hour to Portsmouth .

These last three weeks have been hard extremely emotionally draining and hit their finances with travel and time off work.

They have juggled the hospital with a poorly baby with trying to keep home life with a teenager as normal as possible knowing they had a long road ahead and everything was in the hands of complete strangers .

This Saturday May 4th we were told baby Albie was doing well , better than expected and he was at the point where lines were able to come out .

A few short hours later their lives changed and their precious boy was being transferred to Southampton to undergo emergency surgery.

Little Albie was too poorly for the operation to be successfully completed which left him still very sick .

Yesterday May 6th at 7.15pm Albie took his last breaths after fighting so hard for three long weeks on his Dads chest.

His parents were able to finally hold their boy just hours prior for the first time .

This is something no parent should ever face .

Neither need the stresses of financial pressures of working and paying bills and funeral costs and trying to keep their heads above water at this time so I’m reaching out to ask if anyone is able to donate anything, small amounts are totally fine and anything is fully appreciated as this is a total nightmare and something no parent should ever face .
