Baby Andrea Medical Costs

Hello everyone. This past year has been really hard on my family and I. We have had to move twice. The pregnancy was rough with complications. In the beginning I was hemorrhaging. Then Andrea was developing to slowly. Then I was hospitalized because I got super sick with her and they had to do CT scans and ultrasounds. I haven’t worked since March 8th because of additional complications. My job has this thing called the matrix that we have to go through for leave and everything has been pending and I have not been paid for leave since the 8th. I will hopefully start getting some now that Andrea is born.

Throughout pregnancy I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and gestational hypertension. Which led to Andrea needing to be delivered early at 37 weeks. We went in Tuesday to be induced, she was born Thursday morning and finally went home Friday. She is beautiful, in every way.

Here we are now though, just a few days after baby girl being here and we are at children’s hospital because she isn’t breathing well and we will need to be here for four days.

We do have insurance, although it isn’t covering enough for everything that has happened.

Between the moves and the medical bills we just aren’t making it and we need help.

Update:

We have finally found out what is wrong with an ENT specialist. She needs surgery and she is getting it tomorrow, for her voice box she has a floppy voice box and extra skin in the throat , typically they wait to do surgery but her case is severe and she is at an unsustainable rate of breathing and that’s why she isn’t breathing.

The technical terms for the surgery is MICROLARYNGOSCOPY BRONCHOSCOPY SUSPENSION

SUPRACLOTTOPLASTY, BILATERAL NASAL ENDOSCOPY

Surgery is tomorrow 4/5 at 1:30PM.
