Baby Aria's Liver Transplant Journey

Aloha my name is Heather, Auntie to Baby Aria. Aria was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to Tiffany and Gary Lopez (Kauai residents) in April this year. She was born with a liver disease that has created multiple cysts on her liver causing Aria to suffer with many complications including difficulties breathing, eating on her own (she has to stay on a feeding tube), digesting food, as well as other issues.

After Kapiolani Hospital treated Aria to the best of their ability, she was transferred first to Nemours Hospital in Orlando, Florida, then ended up in the Nemours Hospital in Delaware where she currently is with Tiffany and Gary. Aria's official diagnosis is Hepatic Mesenchymal Hamartoma. The Doctors have determined she is in need of a liver transplant as soon as possible. She is currently on the waiting list, and we are hopeful for a match from a donor or a match from a relative.

As they have been uprooted from their home on Kauai and are unable to work, medical bills, flights, and hotels (when not at The Ronald McDonald House) have taken a toll on Tiffany and Gary, not just emotionally but financially. I am creating this Go Fund Me page to help alleviate some of their financial burdens allowing Tiffany and Gary to focus on Aria and her recovery. This fund will be used for medical bills, travel, and living expenses, while they are unable to work. This will be a journey for Aria for years to come. Please help however you can...financially or with prayer and loving words.
