Baby Ashton Hearing fund
Donation protected
Hey everyone , Please help me help out a wonderful friend of mine!!!!! Her name is Cori McCormick! As some of you know Cori's son Ashton was born unilaterally deaf. They have the opportunity to get him a cochlear implant to make things a little easier for him as he grows up, for his particular type and level of deafness there are 3 doctors who perform this surgery for these particular kids, 1 in New Zealand, 1 in the US and luckily for us 1 in Toronto. Unfortunately we are in BC and BC medical covers exactly $0 of the cost, thankfully they do not have to pay for the surgery itself but will have pay out of pocket for the travel (15-18 trips) and the cochlear itself which is the ‘hearing’ piece at $16,000 the travel is expected to cost them about another $14,000 for a total of $30,000. This is a huge expense and one that of course is incredibly needed to give Ashton the ability to hear anything on his left side at all. He will only be the 4th baby in BC to ever get this surgery for this hearing problem. I can't think of a more deserving family and little man. And that is why I am starting a hearing fund for Baby Ashton :) If anyone is will to help me out PLEASE PLEASE message me and we can figure out details :) Thanks everyone
