Baby Ava Rodriguez

The day before Thanksgiving Lori, and I brought Ava to the hospital because she had a fever for four days. Each of the previous three days we took her to different places, and we were told it was a virus, and that it would pass. Long story short Ava has an infection on the outside layers of her brain as well as inflammation. Since the day we brought her she has had two procedu...res to drain the fluid. Yesterday she was going to have a third procedure like the previous two, but during the procedure Doctors said the infection had gotten worse since the second procedure so they had to do a craniotomy to try to remove the infection. Lori, and I are doing as well as any parent could, and Ava has been a little fighter. We just ask if you could please keep Ava in your prayers so she can make a full, and speedy recovery. Doctors have told us best case scenario is she would be able to leave the Hospital around the middle or end of January, but it's still possible she could have more procedures done to drain more fluid because it's a pretty bad & serious infection. Right now we are still holding off on visitors, but I will try to keep y'all posted with updates.

Lori and Chris have both taken time off of work to be by Ava's side day and night, if you are able to help them during this time of need anything is appreciated.
