Baby BellaRose's Hospitilization

At just 13 days old, my cousin's baby, BellaRose was transported to CCMC with a life-threatening infection. While she is in the best place she could be to receive care, she will be hospitalized with IV treatment for a minimum of 21 days, possibly longer pending results of a second spinal tap. It's a big transition becoming new parents and a very difficult one spending your first few weeks in a hospital setting away from the comforts of your own home. She's one strong newborn, only fussing when her IV meds are being started. Her mama, Ashley, has not left her side. This stay has been exhausting. We are asking first for prayers for continued strength and healing for BellaRose as she is tiny and still brand new, and for monetary donations to take away the burden of paying for gas for her Dad to travel back and forth to see her between working and maintaining a household, for meals and necessities for her mama while she stays with her at the hospital and in any other ways donations may help to relieve some of their stress financially. As a Pediatric Nurse, I always say, "A baby fills a space in your heart you never knew was empty."
