Baby Carrot’s Life-Saving FIP Treatment
Donation protected
I am raising funds for life saving treatment for 6 month old kitten, Baby Carrot, who is suffering with a fatal disease. Without this treatment Baby Carrot only has a few weeks to live, so your support would literally save his life!
Baby Carrot is an incredibly sweet and special 6 month old kitten. His unusual yet adorable moniker was given to him by his best friend and owner, 2 year old Theo. From the day Baby Carrot was born to their cat Tiger, he and Theo have shared an incredible bond. Unfortunately however, Baby Carrot has been diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP).
FIP is very hard to treat, however there have been significant recent developments in the management of this once fatal condition.
There is hope for Baby Carrot and other cats in the form of a treatment involving a course of tablets and veterinary care; however this comes at a cost of £6500. For Baby Carrot’s owners this in completely unaffordable, therefore I am asking for help on their behalf towards this cost, in the hope that it can save Baby Carrot’s life. His owners Tara, Zoe and little Theo are such humble and kind people that they feel guilty asking for financial help; yet they are heartbroken by Baby Carrot’s diagnosis. Therefore I am launching this GoFundMe for them, in the hope that we can raise enough to treat their precious Baby Carrot. It is also our hope that if his treatment is successful, it could have positive ramifications for further research into FIP, and hopefully benefit others in the future whose beloved cats are affected by this disease.
It is devastating to lose a pet; they aren’t just animals, they our part of our family. Any donation will be so gratefully received and give such hope, for sweet little Baby Carrot, and his adoring owners.
Thank you so much
