Baby Casher Medical bills

Hi my name is Jessica Hammer. I am fundraising for the Weishalla family. Baby Casher is my perfect new nephew.

I am going to explain the situation in the best non medical terms I can. Casher was born with a heart defect. It was not a surprise. The Drs found it via ultrasound while Janel was pregnant.

Even though it was expected, it was still scary. Janel and Ron have been in Minneapolis for over a month at this point.

Casher had heart surgery at not even 1 week old. He is currently in the Cardiac ICU unit at Children's in the Cities. He has the best care and the best Drs.

Casher has had some ups and downs while healing, but overall he is doing so well.

He will still have an extended stay and isn't ready to be home yet. He has many more milestones to hit before he can go home.

To add a little more chaos to this difficult situation, Janel was laid off from her job this past fall. The company she worked with for the past 13 years held some major lay offs and she was affected by this.
