Baby DJ Toy Shopping

This will be the last year that I'll be doing the GoFundMe for this charity. I will still donate every year to the BabyDJ charity. Over the past several years I was able to get over $2,000, and I thank everyone who donated over the years.

The XL 106.7 FM Baby DJ toy fund provides toys, food, & resources to underprivileged kids and families every Christmas season in the Orlando area. For over 20 years I have purchased toys every year for this charity, and one year I also worked their warehouse. I learned that teenagers are the hardest group to buy for because they usually want more expensive gifts. That’s where I got the idea to start a GoFundMe account to see if I could raise more money. This is the 7th year I'm continuing this GoFundMe account.

I collect the money, go to a local store with friends or anyone who wants to volunteer their time, purchase the gifts, then deliver them to the Baby DJ warehouse or a listed drop-off location. Then afterwards I post a copy of the receipt of how much was spent, and photos of the toys delivered. Other than the fees GoFundMe charges, all of the money will go to this charity. So far nearly $2,000.00 has been raised over the past 6 years. I believe this charity is still a 501(c)(3) charity which means that your donation should be tax deductible. I’m taking donations up to next week Tuesday the 20th, or Wednesday the 21st. This should be enough time to purchase the toys, and deliver them before their last day December 22nd. So if you guys can spare a little extra Black Friday money even if it's $5 I would appreciate it.
