Baby Elias Jensen (son of Mark & Amber Jensen)

Elias Paul Jensen was born on 4/7/23 (Good Friday) and Mark & Amber got a call on 4/11/23 around 12PM that they were chosen to be the parents of this sweet little boy. They knew that his little heart would need surgery within the first 6 months, but thought they would be able to discharge and bring him back to Georgia that week. Unfortunately, that was not the case because of his heart condition.

His amazing NICU nurses and doctors have been keeping a close watch on him. Each day has been a different obstacle that they have had to overcome as a family, but he continues to be the strongest little boy.

Fast forward to April 18th, they were told that he will need to have his surgery this week and would be transferred to a different hospital several hours away in Texas to continue his care. This means that they will not be able to bring him back to Georgia for at least another 3 weeks if everything goes as planned.

His doctors feel confident that this surgery is what’s safest for him and they are trusting that God’s glory will shine through his story.

They are asking for continued prayers for Baby Elias and the challenging days to come. This is definitely more than what they expected financially because they thought he would already be home. They are now planning additional flights, transportation, and accommodations.

Many of you have already asked how you can support them other than prayer, so if you would like to send monetary support for housing, food, and transportation they would greatly appreciate it.

They told Elias the story of how they got to him and how God hand picked them to be his parents. They told him about all the people that are so excited to meet him and love on him. They know that they were sent to him for a reason. ❤️ God is good!
