Baby Ella’s Brain Tumor Battle

As many of you know, Scott and Mandy Miller are facing the unimaginable.  Last week they found out that their sweet baby Ella has an inoperable brain tumor.  They have learned that it has metastasized throughout her brain and spine.  Ella will receive a central line port placement on Tuesday and begin chemotherapy treatments the first week of June to begin fighting this tumor. The family is in shock and working to process this painful new reality and prepare for the long road ahead.  They are working with an oncology treatment team at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, which will become their new home away from home.  For those of you who have met Ella, know that she is nothing but a beautiful bundle of smiles, laughter, and love.  She is a kind and gentle soul.  This 7 month-old babe needs all of the love, support, prayers, positive energy and strength that we can offer her as she endures what no little one should ever have to go through.    

Scott and Mandy will do whatever it takes to get Ella the best care available.  Ella’s medical treatment will undoubtedly cost a fortune, and their medical bills are going to stack up rapidly. They will appreciate any help we are able to offer them as they give everything they have to take care of their family.
