4 Peaks Challenge for Féileacáin in memory of Ezra
I'm raising money in aid of Féileacáin Teoranta and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause which means so much to me.
Our Story:
In January 2023, we sadly lost our pregnancy, and our entire world was shattered in an instant! We had lost our beautiful baby boy Ezra, but his memory will live on forever with us thanks to the support from Féileacáin.
While in CUMH in Cork, we were given a Féileacáin memory box. Not knowing at the time, that this simple gesture would become the most comforting and treasured possession we have which has allowed us to have genuine memories and items that Ezra would have worn and had with him during his short stay in hospital that we will cherish for as long as we live.
My wife Ellis and I are truly so grateful to Féileacáin for this.
Determined to challenge myself to do better, in July this year I will be completing the 4-peak challenge in 48 hours in memory of my son Ezra and to raise funds for Féileacáin so they can keep doing their amazing work to help comfort and support couples who also have found themselves in this unfortunate position.
You check out more of the amazing work Féileacáin do on their website: https://feileacain.ie/
The Challenge:
In just 48 hours, I will need to reach the peak on the highest mountain in each of the 4 provinces of Ireland! The 4 Peaks are Carrauntoohil, Co. Kerry (1,038m), Mweelrea, Co. Mayo (814m), Slieve Donard, Co. Down (925m) and Lugnaquilla, Co. Wicklow (850m). This will take an enormous amount of determination, support from great friends, strategic logistics plans and a lot of training which I have already started.
If you would like to make a donation that would be great and I thank you for your support on this.
If you wish to follow the journey you can do so on Instagram @Jackocork where I will share the training journey and the challenge itself in July.
Thank you
