Baby Frances Glueck Medical Fund
Donation protected
Baby Frances Anne was welcomed into this world, four weeks early, on July 17, 2018. She is the deeply loved baby sister to two older sisters and a brother and her Momma and Daddy.
Early in the pregnancy, there were indications that Baby Frances could have some serious medical complications. The deeply held faith of her parents gave them so much strength and joy as they anticipated the arrival of their sweet Frances.
Due to health concerns related to possible chromosomal abnormalities, she was delivered at Texas Children's Hospital in Downtown Houston (almost 100 miles away from home!).
She has since had a tracheostomy and is being monitored by cardiology due to heart functioning concerns. Sweet Frances is a true fighter and has already overcome pneumonia, other infections, and blood transfusions. While the struggles have been many, the blessings and miracles that Frances has faced is truly amazing. As Frances is able to improve her feeding and breathing there are hopes that she will be able to come home to her family. Let us pray that she is able to overcome those obstacles soon!
She is a very strong little girl, but her Mama and Daddy could use some help! Mom and Dad take the nearly 100 mile drive to see Baby Frances in the hospital every day except for Thursday and Sunday when the grandparents go. In addition to the cost of travel to see their baby, there are concerns that medical coverage or nursing support will not be provided once they are able to bring Frances home. And if it is provided, it could take up to three months to receive any financial help. Frances’ parents need help to take the financial pressure off so that they would be able to focus on her needs. The medical bills are adding up fast and are sure to keep coming.
We have hope that Baby Frances will be coming home very soon!
