Baby Genevieve needs surgery

Donation protected

Baby Genevieve, approximately the sweetest baby in the world, was born with Apert syndrome. It causes a number of serious difficulties, including differences in Genevieve’s skull and hands, which require multiple surgeries for her safety and health.

Genevieve and her parents, Landon and Caroline, will be flying to Los Angeles next week for a major cranial surgery that will give her brain enough room to grow. The surgery will be life changing , and life saving, but it has risks. They need to stay in LA for a month to give Genevieve time to recover.

A month. In a strange city. During a pandemic.
While Genevieve is extra-vulnerable to infection.

Here’s what they’re facing:

The flights may total $1,000. (Do you have extra airline miles?)
A month in an AirBnB could easily cost $3,000. (Know anyone with a guesthouse near Los Angeles Childrens Hospital?)
Food for a month, when they may or may not have a kitchen.
Transit costs to the hospital and to light a candle at the nearest Orthodox Christian church will add up quick, especially if they need to rent a car to to avoid public transit covid germs while G is freshly post-surgery. (Have a spare vehicle in LA?)

Sweet-cheeked Genevieve needs surgery. Her parents need our support. Please keep them in your prayers, and donate if you can.
