Baby Girl Born With Syndactyly and Club Foot

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Sofia and I’m fundraising for my daughter, Emma which is 7 months old. She was born with birth defects including syndactyly (meaning that some fingers are conjoined/webbed) on both hands and club foot. On her left hand her fingers did not grow all the way, they only grew halfway and that’s where three of her fingers are conjoined which makes it complex syndactyly. Her right hand only has the tips connected so it’s not complex. She only has three nails on her hands (thumbs and one pinky on the right hand). On her left foot her toes didn’t fully develop, so she doesn’t have toenails on that foot, but on the right foot she has overgrowth of skin on top of her toes and has few toenails. When she was born she had to wear a cast on her left foot for a month or so because of her club foot. She will need surgery to separate and reconstruct her fingers, and remove the overgrowth from her right foot. She’ll be able to do the surgery as early as 1 years old. This breaks my heart to see my baby suffering from this condition, right after she was born and I first held her in my arms I couldn’t stop crying when I saw her hands and feet. She’s so smart , learns so quickly, and is so curious about the world around her, I just want my baby girl to be able to hold a pencil or wear some sandals so that she can feel happy and beautiful. I really need your support on making this happen. Thank you for taking the time to read her story.
