Baby Girls Kitty HIT by CAR

Hi, this is Lucky, our 4-year-old family cat that we found on the engine of our car after driving it (and him) to Walmart. We found him during our daughters birthday month when she was turning 3 and she fell in love with him, so he became her present and earned the name Lucky. They are more than best friends, and honestly, he is the perfect family cat who LOVES the kids in his house. He loves on them, watches over them when they are outside together and always lets them pet him and even pick him up.

Friday night 3/ 24/23 he was hit by a car. He managed to get himself back home (he never really goes far from home) and lay down on our back porch where he knew we would find him. We rushed him to an emergency all-night vet hospital to find out what was wrong and get him the medical attention he needed. HIS INJURIES INCLUDE head trauma, with a broken jaw and broken teeth, his front right paw has a neurologic injury, and he has some broken ribs.

The emergency vet was around $1500, and the Dental Specialist is estimating a $7,000 charge to fix his jaw so he can eat and drink, and that is why we are asking for help. He has definitely lived up to his name, because like the vet said he is lucky to be alive but has a road of recovery ahead of him.
