Baby Greysen on the "Right Feet"

SEPTEMBER IS CMT AWARENESS MONTH!

As some know, our 3 month old baby Greysen was just diagnosed with CMT, Charcot Marie Tooth, an INCURABLE progressing Nerve disease. Effecting nerves and muscles.

Which is news we never wanted to hear, as we are familiar with this terrible disease. Greysen was put on high priority status with specialitity and was accepted right away! He will also be established with a Muscular Dystrophy clinic. This will be a long road and probably life time of appointments, but we need to start right away to ensure he develops correctly and in hopes he will have ability to walk and control his pain and symptoms. There is NO cure for this disease but earlier intervention is most Important!

*** We do start traveling to the cities for his care soon, so we have started a fundraiser to help with the many travel costs, car expenses, time off work for parent's, but also medical equipment and anything insurance doesn't cover (ex: braces, orthodics, ect.)

We are an open book and will answer any questions because every share and post bring more awareness to CMT, meaning someday there MAY be a cure for him or others who suffer and better control over symptom, side effects and progression.
