Baby Hallie's Heart Journey

Laura and Kirk Pfefferle have been blessed with a baby girl, Hallie Kathryn, set to enter the world this fall.  Early in Laura’s pregnancy, Baby Hallie was diagnosed with a congenital heart disease, Epstein’s anomaly with circular shunting, which will require Laura, Kirk and big brother Mark (1) to relocate to Houston for several months to receive care at Texas Children’s Hospital.  Hallie will require specialized pre-natal care and a series of surgical procedures to ensure that her heart can function properly.

Through all of this, the Pfefferles remain steadfast and strong with a continued faith in God, and they’ve asked only for our love, support and prayers.  Please continue to keep their growing family - and especially Baby Hallie - in your daily prayers.

Folks in south Louisiana love to rally around loved ones.  We visit, bring meals, pray the Rosary, and lift up those in need of support. The Pfefferles are uprooting their lives and moving 4 hours away from home to focus on Baby Hallie’s health and safe delivery.  Their friends and family back home are joining together to raise funds to defray costs of their unforeseen, but not impossible, road ahead.  We hope you’ll prayerfully consider joining us in this effort.
