Baby Illiana Ontiveros and family

Hi, We are the Nebel family,

We have some very good friends who are experiencing some life challenges that we went through to some extent as a family ourselves! If you could see in your hearts to help out a young couple with a brand new family member through some very tough times ahead we would super appreciate anything that you can assist with in these trying times!

Here is their story, I hope it pulls at your heartstrings as much as it does ours!

The money raised will be used for living expenses and medical bills! Both Tehya and Kylan are very hard-working and both self-employed. Kylan is a Barber and his fiancee Tehya is a hairdresser. The couple is hard-working and has excelled in starting and developing their clientele. You can imagine how this is impacting them!

On Friday, March 10th, Tehya had to be brought to the ER due to having trouble breathing, blurry vision, and pain in her chest. Doctors had discovered that her Blood Pressure was 249/146 which is dangerously high in general let alone 29 weeks pregnant. She was taken up to Labor and Delivery where she was diagnosed with Severe Preeclampsia. With worries about seizures, Tehya was on many medications and monitors to watch her and baby Illiana. She received a steroid shot to help Illianas lungs progress quickly and was told the hope was to have 48 hours without a baby. 36 hours later on Sunday, March 12th, Tehya and Kylan were told that because Tehya’s organs were starting to fail, baby Illiana needed to come that day. They were taken into C-section where Illiana Marie Ontiveros made her arrival weighing 1lb 14oz and 14 inches in length. Illiana was taken immediately into NICU where she will endure her journey of growing strong and healthy enough to go home! As for Tehya, she remains in the hospital, currently having too many fluctuations in her blood pressure to be released. Unfortunately, having to be in the hospital early, has resulted in a premature maternity leave making it very hard for the family financially. Kylan is working as much as possible, although still trying to be with Tehya and Illiana as much as he possibly can.
