Baby Jackson James Flaterud and his parents

Hi, my name is Danielle Skinner and I am raising funds for my nephew Jackson James (JJ) Flaterud, his older brother Avery, and his parents Markie and Conrad Flaterud.

JJ was born at 30 weeks (10 weeks premature) and is experiencing medical complications which has taken him from the Regina General Hospital NICU to the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton. Baby JJ was born with a genetic disorder which has added complications to his already premature condition. He will require numerous surgeries and much medical attention. Not only is this hard emotionally on JJ’s parents, but it also has financial implications.

The funds raised for JJ will go towards bills, as Conrad will be on leave and Markie does not qualify for materiality leave, as she was required to be off work early. The funds will also go to any uncovered medical expenses. For example, it was $1,500 to fly JJ to Edmonton from Regina, leaving his parents to drive to Edmonton. Any funds that are not used will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charity.
