Baby Jayden's Recovery

Baby Jayden is the sweetest, goofiest, happiest, most loving baby boy ever. Not to mention, the best brother. On the evening of Sunday, February 20, 2022, he went to the grocery store with his uncle Steve. On their way back home, life changed in a flash.

 

Steve and Jayden had waited at the crosswalk for their signal to to proceed. When the signal gave them the go ahead, Steve looked both ways, cars had all stopped and they proceeded to cross the roadway.

 

According to witnesses, suddenly a dark colored sedan with no headlights came flying behind and changed lanes, where there were no other vehicles. The suspect ran the red light going approximately 40 mph, striking Jayden's stroller. Jayden was thrown several feet from his stroller and was knocked unconscious. Jayden was rushed to Phoenix Children's Hospital where he currently remains.

 

Jayden has suffered multiple injuries and has a very long road to recovery. We do not currently know what his future may hold. Jayden has suffered a brain bleed, liver laceration, neck fracture, broken arm, wrist and pelvis. He has multiple cuts and bruises. He is currently on a breathing machine and feeding tube. We are very thankful Jayden is alive.

 

At this time, we are asking for donations. We have a huge uphill battle ahead of us, not only for Jayden, but for our family as a whole. We are in need of some help. Nobody in the home currently has transportation, and a vehicle would be helpful once Jayden is released from the hospital. He will have numerous follow up appointments with Doctors, Specialists, Therapy etc. We would appreciate any help we can get.
