Baby John’s Big Fight

Hi, my name is Karisa and I am reaching out in support of my best friend Gina and her family. On Friday, July 5, Gina and John brought their baby, John Carter (JC), to his 9-month baby appointment. During the checkup, the pediatrician felt a mass and immediately sent them to Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital where it’s been determined to be a tumor on his kidney. He will require immediate surgery to remove both the tumor and the kidney in hopes of completely removing the cancer from his little body.

Gina and John are dedicated parents who have had their lives turned upside down while also caring for their other two children and taking time off work to be with their baby during this critical time.
