Baby Kayson's Medical Journey

Sweet baby Kayson has been struggling to feed since he was born. For three months his mommy and daddy have said they thought there was something significant going on. Not long ago he was finally diagnosed with a lip and tongue tie, making nursing so incredibly difficult. They thought they finally had the answers that would get him some relief. While awaiting an appointment to clip his ties, Baby Kayson took a turn. His milk intake decreased and his wet diaper output became concerning. He was taken to to Children’s Hospital where he was admitted due to his physicians feeling there was more going on than originally thought. Baby Kayson has been admitted for almost a week with no answers. He has had an NG tube placed and countless tests done. As of now, he does not have a discharge date. Baby Kayson has two older sisters that his parents are also trying to be there for while tending to his care in the hospital. This means long drives between home and the hospital, still providing for their needs and paying for food while they are by his side while he fights to get better and his physicians look for answers.
