Baby Levi, Mon and Ricky

On behalf of the family we have created this gofundme for anyone who wishes to make a contribution to Moni and Ricky to assist during this difficult time.

A bit of information about our baby Levi.

On August 15th 2023 Levi wasn’t himself, reduced feeds, rapid breathing and a temperature of 40, he was taken to ED and after 3 hours and minimal tests he was sent home.

Later that night Levi’s condition rapidly declined and after being rushed into hospital he became unresponsive and was put in an induced coma on life support.

After many hours we were given the diagnosis that he had contracted Streptococcus Pneumonia a bacterial infection which infected Levi’s brain, causing him to have encephalitis meningitis which is swelling of the brain.

Due to the severity of the infection it has left our baby with irreversible brain damage, cerebral palsy, adrenal gland dysfunction, thyroid issues, irregular temperatures, dystonia and severe epilepsy.

Levi has been in a minimally conscious state since the 15th of August 2023.

Nothing will bring back our Levi but we have created this page in the hopes that we can assist during this horrible and devastating time.

Moni and Ricky have been the most incredible parents to Levi and as the last moments are approaching we would like to assist financially to ensure that the burden of not working is the last thing on their minds, allowing them to spend as much quality time together as a family and with our beautiful baby boy, Levi.
