Baby McLaughlin IVF Journey

Hello everyone!

We are Tiffany and Kris McLaughlin .

We started this GoFundMe in hopes of helping raise funds for IVF. For those of you who don't know, IVF is a form of infertility treatment and is VERY expensive.

Here's a little glimpse of our story. We started trying for a baby as soon as we got married, in April of 2021.

Unfortunately I suffer from endometriosis, which makes that dream extremely difficult for us. I've had 2 surgeries in 2018 for it which helped dramatically with the pain and discomfort but ultimately does not help us on our journey to conceiving naturally.

We started that journey in August and boy was it a rollercoaster emotionally, mentally, physically, and financially. The egg retrieval yielded 29 eggs, 25 of which were mature, 20 of those fertilized, and 4 of them grew to blastocyst stage after 5 days.

Asking for help is not easy, for either of us. We are so fortunate to have phenomenal friends, family members, and other loved ones who have supported our journey- many of whom haven't learned of our struggles until now. We have an amazing doctor who is helping solve our infertility puzzle pieces. Which is why we decided to swallow our pride and ask for help in our continued hopes for baby McLaughlin.
