Baby Meeko Needs Your Help

hi. My name is Eden. I love animals. Growing up I’ve always had a ton of different kinds. From pigs to snakes, i’ve always had a tender side for animals. When I was younger I wanted to be a vet. I ended up as a mechanic instead, which doesn’t pay very well. In the last few months I’ve ended up working online and sales, to help save up money and pay bills. I had just gotten Meeko and he had reached the age to be able to take all of his vaccines and medicines, so i took him to get them last week on Wednesday. Today is Wednesday, it’s been one week since we started rabies and parvo vacs, but last night he got very sick. Lethargic and vomiting. I thought it was just a symptom of the medicine that was prescribed, like the vet said. But upon waking up this morning, he had blood all over himself. He was sick and something was wrong. So we took him to the vet this morning, and he was Pavo positive. exactly one week from now, I had taken him to get his vaccine started. As much as this is a mental battle for me, losing Meeko is not something that I’d like to do. I can’t. I love him and he hasn’t had a chance to explore life like he deserves to. He is a good boy.

Today I spent a bit of money getting him antibiotics and started on a treatment to help treat the parvo and hopefully he can recover.

my problem is, that rent is due in five days or so, and I’m just not going to have enough. I could use all of my money right now to save him, but then we would all be homeless. I’m sure you see my dilemma.

I never do this kind of stuff, I like to work hard and make ends meet on my own, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I needed your help right now. I don’t want my dog to die.

They told me total treatment is 1,900. I have already spent $200 today, and each day he makes it towards recovery is going to run me $52.94 and $27.17 for injections, and $26.02 for fluids.

The next 24 to 72 hours, are going to be the most vital to getting him the help that he needs and maintaining it.
