Baby Mia Dillon Medical Support

Hi! My name is Marsha Dillon, and I’m starting a fundraiser for my new granddaughter, Mia Elizabeth Dillon, and her parents John Dillon (my son) and Emily Bell.

Mia came into this world 4 weeks premature on April 13th, 2022 at 2:30am via emergency c-section. Immediately after delivery, Mia was rushed to the NICU at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY where she still is currently. Mia will remain in the NICU for the foreseeable future as she has been experiencing medical issues that will require surgery soon.

Emily was released from Strong Memorial on Friday, April 15th, where her and John were then moved to the Ronald McDonald House where they will stay for the remainder of Mia’s stay. Emily is recovering and doing well physically.

Due to the fact that Mia is admitted to Strong Memorial in Rochester, and John and Emily live in Syracuse, this hospital stay is causing mounting expenses.

In addition to financial strain, the emotional stress of being so far away from home during this experience has been tolling on them as well.

Anything donated will be given directly to John and Emily to help offset the cost of living in Rochester, and the day to day bills and expenses here at home.

As they feel more comfortable, John and Emily can offer more details about Mia’s condition, but at this time I will not be releasing anything more.
