Baby of Scott Glen Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Our beloved son, brother, uncle, friend, boyfriend, and soon-to-be father, Scott Glen, passed away suddenly in an accident on March 18, 2019.
He was the life of the party, with a booming voice and incredible laugh marked by so many as simply, “the best.” He was an excellent cook, loved the Oakland A’s, and always made sure to do things his way. He never hesitated to pitch in to help with anything.
Scott was so proud to be an uncle to three little boys, but was so excited (and a bit nervous!) to become a father. He passed away when baby was just 12 weeks along. He was considering names and sending pictures with handwritten notes of all the choices they were considering, to see which his family liked. He was even gearing up for a gender reveal party.
His passing is devastating to those who knew him, but may some comfort be found that he will live and love on in this little boy or girl. As someone who loved him said, “this baby will give back to the world a little bit of what is now so sadly missing.”
No one will be impacted quite like this child, who will never get the great pleasure we’ve all had of knowing Scott. There are no expectations or goals in this fund, but we would like anyone who wishes to do anything in lieu of flowers, that it goes to where it will be needed most, Little Baby Glen.
We’ll be finding out if Scott would have been having a little boy or a little girl in the coming weeks. We’ll update when we find out.
For those who wish to pay respects to Scott, the services have been finalized. They will be held next Saturday, March 30th, at 11am at Orchard Avenue Baptist Church, located at 301 N Orchard Ave., Vacaville. A reception onsite will follow the memorial. We look forward to meeting so many of you and to share in our collective grief at the loss of our favorite guy.
