Baby on the Way: Financial Help for a New Single Mom
Donation protected
UPDATE: Ethan Troy Brookman arrived 3 weeks early! Thank you so much for all your support and help! I’m planning to return to work asap but recovering from an unexpected C section due to him being breach. I will keep this up and still accept any kind donations until I’m back to work in March!
I have waited until the very last minute to create this Go Fund Me due to my pride and stubbornness to “do it all myself.”
I have worked my butt off during this pregnancy and unfortunately still not financially in a “good” place. Today was my last day working until the baby arrives. With my due date approaching quickly and no longer being able to train or work with dogs, I am getting nervous about income.
I have done my absolute best to sign up for help through the state and programs that Oregon offers but I was denied due to “making too much money” and being outside of their narrow brackets.
I hate asking for help and have always tried to be as independent and self sufficient as possible but it’s no longer just me to worry about.
I appreciate ANY amount and for even taking the time to read this. I’m hoping to have a positive birth experience and get back to work asap so I can provide for my son. Extremely challenging when you own your own business and have no additional source of income.
Love,
Grateful first time mommy
