Baby Otis, Emily and Ollie

Hi my name is Bernie and I am fundraising for my brave little grandson Otis and his family. Young families are struggling financially right now but add a baby with a heart condition who is in and out of hospital the last month and who on the 5th March under went open heart surgery to fix a large hole in his heart and make his pulmonary valve larger to help his heart work normally. Otis surgery went well but he has a long recovery ahead of him and will be in hospital for a few more weeks.

Emily was suppose to return to work this month but has now had to delay this by 3 months due to little Otis getting sick and requiring surgery earlier than originally planned. Anyone who visits someone in hospital knows the cost of parking, food and Qld Children’s Hospital is no different and add in the pressure of not working and the rise in cost of living. I am helping where I can but I hate to see this family struggling and too proud to ask for help.
