Baby Phoebes' Heart Fund (HLHS)
Donation protected
To my friends and family. God put this on my heart to try and help my sweet family. Please take a moment to read and give if you can. This family is in for years of surgeries with their precious newborn Phoebe. She has already had open heart surgery and a stint at less than a week old. Her parents are young, first time parents and they have a very long road ahead of them. Phoebe will eventually need a heart transplant. Any donation matters. The funds will be used for lodging at the RMDhouse, gas, food, medical and anything else they need.
Sweet baby Phoebe was born on February 8th 2019 with a Congenital Heart Defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). The syndrome is life changing and is where the left side of the heart did not fully develop and is extremely small. The left side has no function to it and the heart is solely relying on the right side of the heart to keep her alive. There is no cure for HLHS it is just basically palliative care to get her by and ultimately later on in life, she will need a transplant. The palliative care is a 3 step surgery process, the Norwood, Glenn, and Fontan. She just had her Norwood at 10 days old. We were told to expect at least 6 weeks inpatient after her surgery but of course could be longer. Her mommy (Jenee) is living in Gainesville at the Ronald McDonald house ($15night) and daddy (Karl )is going back and forth on the weekends.
If you would rather send a gift card to her at the RMDhouse please send to
