Baby Brayden came early!!

On 2/16/17, just over 30 weeks into their pregnancy, Brittany and Cody welcomed Brayden James Pitman into their lives.  Although the delivery went well, little Brayden will require well over a month of time in the NICU at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.  Over an hour from home, Brittany and Cody will be staying in Asheville as much as possible to be near Brayden until he's ready to come home. 

Both Brittany and Cody will be away from work more than expected over the next several months as they start their new life as parents.  They will need support from friends and family in many ways, including financially.  Here are some possible ways to support Brittany and Cody through this GoFundMe campaign:

- If your employer allows you to sell back your paid-time-off (PTO), consider donating the same dollar amount you will recieve when selling back a day (or more) of PTO.

- Share this campaign with family and close friends and tell them how wonderful Brittany and Cody are and how much they would appreciate support from their community. 

- Talk with your church and find out if a portion of a weekly offering can be designated to support Brittany and Cody during this time.

- Talk with your kids about little Brayden and encourage them to consider raising support through their schools. 

- Consider supporting Brittany and Cody financially instead of buying the usual baby clothes or toys as premie's have unique needs.
