Baby Rhea

My name is Brittney, and I am organizing this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden of NICU medical care for my twin sister, Bridgett and her fiancé, Donald.

Bridgett and Donald welcomed Rhea Dionne Fennell on August 6, 2023. She was born at 30 weeks and was only 2lbs because she was diagnosed with fetal growth restriction. Bridgett was put into the hospital on July 20th, trying to keep baby girl in for as long as possible, but after some declines in her heart rate they had to get her out via c-section. She was rushed to the NICU where she is expected to stay until October (2 months) She has a lot of growing and treatments to go through in order to be able to come home.

We cannot lessen the stress or emotional journey they are on, but I am hoping we can help ease the financial burden. The NICU care is a lot for a young family to take on and the financial stress of my twin having to go unpaid for having to take leave of absence at work due to the unforeseen circumstances. Medical insurance & maternity leave will run out shortly. Your generous donations will help allow Rhea’s parents to focus on her health and well being without the added stress of the bills piling up.
