Baby Rhett's Healing Journey

Since Alyssa and Cody have shared the birth announcement of sweet Baby Rhett, so many caring friends and family have asked how they can help this sweet little family of 5. Baby Rhett was born with a rare birth defect called gastroschisis. He’s already such a strong little guy and he’s giving it everything he’s got to overcome this condition. With Alyssa and Cody’s permission I feel the best way to help them through this healing journey with Rhett is by establishing a GoFundMe to help them out. The baby will be receiving the best care possible at Stead Family Children’s Hospital at the University of Iowa (what an amazing place!). This will entail many trips to Iowa City over the coming weeks/months. Most of all, baby Rhett needs prayers for healing. He’s getting so much love from mommy, daddy, little sister and big brother.
