Baby Stout's Fight: 3 Heart Surgeries
Donation protected
This is a place to support a growing family with hard months ahead. Jeremiah & Elizabeth Stout are expecting their second child to be born this spring. But recent doctor check-ups reflected irregularities in Baby Stout's heart. (They are awaiting the birth for the gender reveal!)
The Stouts' coming baby was diagnosed with a heart condition called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Plainly put, the heart isn't fully developed. In order to repair the heart, three surgeries are required over the next 3-5 years beginning at the time of delivery at MUSC in Charleston, SC.
The first 2 surgeries happen within 6 months of birth (week 1 and month 6). The last surgery often takes place when needed sometime between 3-5 years old.
The Stouts need our help to bring sweet Baby Stout home to Upstate SC. The delivery, extended time away from work, and residing in Charleston throughout the birth and first two surgeries are weighing on this young family. Please join us in supporting them here!
They also ask for your prayers in the months ahead. Thank you for loving them well!
