Baby Sulley's Medical Expenses
Donation protected
I made this profile for my dear friends because their humble pride would not allow them to ask for help themselves. Their sweet baby Sulley has earned quite a following on social media because 1. He's completely adorable and squishy 2. To follow his medical journey. Due to his medical needs, baby Sulley requires 24/7 monitoring, and has been unable to be allowed back to daycare. In addition to the piles of medical bills that continually roll in from ER trips and hospital stays, the adjustment to Blake and Alaina's work schedules to accommodate one of them always being home with baby Sulley has begun to take its financial toll as well. These are hard times for everyone right now, but the Deshazo family truly needs some help, and I know there are many of us out there that follow their journey and would love to support them through this financial hardship. Please feel free to share this page and know that even the smallest donation will truly be appreciated beyond measure.
For those of you who are new to baby Sulley's medical journey, here is an overview of his condition:
Sulley was born at 34 weeks and spent two weeks in the NICU before coming home. He got bronchitis in December, then rhinovirus and enterovirus, then pneumonia... on underdeveloped preemie lungs. It was just too much on his little body. His immune system was so weak, he would catch anything. After a couple of hospital stays, he was referred to a pediatric pulmonologist. He ended up in the hospital again, where he was sent to Children’s Hospital. After his return home, he continued having problems and was referred to a pediatric cardiologist. He had testing on his lungs and heart. The cardiologist found a lot of pressure on his lungs, and after consulting with his pulmonologist, they determined that he has Pulmonary Hypertension. Sulley is now on full time oxygen.
