Help Baby Theo Butler

Hi, my name is Sara. I am creating this page for my friend Blane.

Lil baby Theo was born July 24th at 10:42 am. After hours of labor, he was born into the world, but he wasn’t breathing! The staff were able to administer chest compressions and thought all was well, until they discovered a rare genetic condition. This poor little guy had something called treacheoesaphageal fistula, basically his esophagus didn’t connect to his stomach! Lizzie and Blane had to watch their hour old newborn, put on a flight to Childrens Hospital in Denver, while they had to remain at the hospital in Summit County; waiting for Lizzie to be discharged. The morning of the 25th, the parents were allowed to leave the hospital, to rush down the mountain to their newborn baby. Baby Theo underwent his surgery that morning. This strong resilient little dude made it out with flying colors. His parents were ecstatic, they were finally able to hold and be with their son. As Theo recovered in the NICU, Lizzie and Blane thought he was finally out of the woods, but at 7:15 pm Theo’s lung collapsed. The doctors discovered a tiny tear in his lung and had to put a chest tube in to remove the air pocket that was forming in his side. As of this morning the little tear has finally healed, but Theo is still in recovery as his parents remain in a hotel room. I am creating this page to help assist Lizzie and Blane with the cost of little Theo’s medical bills. Anything would help. I am asking you to reach into your heart and help a family in need.
