Hello everyone,

My name is Emily Tomas, and I currently reside in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I have been friends with Hollie for well over 15 years. I'm here because our dear friend Hollie, along with her husband Alan and their son Avery, are embarking on an incredible journey to expand their family.

Hollie and Alan met through a mutual friend/family member. Alan spotted her on a Zoom call and immediately had to find out who she was. As Alan was in the Air Force at the time, it took longer than they both wanted to actually meet. However, once that finally did happen, it was clear that the connection was undeniable. Head over heels in love, they soon started a life together.

The military has taken Hollie and Alan all over the United States! Along with wracking up many air miles, they were blessed to add Avery to their family unit. Avery is a super smart, hilarious, and kind little boy. He is a blessing to everyone he meets.

While life in the Tomaszycki household has always been joyful, Hollie and Alan have found themselves facing some heartbreak and very tough circumstances. When they decided to try and expand their family once again, it wasn't so easy this time around.

After facing several traumatic miscarriages, they've decided to pursue IVF surrogacy with a dear friend who has generously offered to be their surrogate. Along their journey of being in the Air Force, Hollie met a friend at work nearly ten years ago. They were best friends the moment they met. Hollie, Alan, their friend, and her husband formed a bond as if they had known each other their entire lives. When this special friend heard that Hollie was considering surrogacy, she immediately jumped at the opportunity to help make this dream a reality for them and selflessly be the surrogate they needed.

The extensive love, selflessness, bravery, and most of all - kindness - that she has shown is beyond what words can say to thank her.

But, we still need your help to make this happen.

The extensive work and stress this process will take on them range from attorney's fees, travel expenses, countless injections, ultrasounds, genetic testing, bloodwork, and more. Not to mention the anxiety of waiting to (hopefully) hear good news, which is a heavy weight they have already found themselves carrying.

That's where we, as their friends, family, and supporters, can make a real difference. I've started this GoFundMe campaign to help ease the financial burden they'll face on this journey.

Your support will directly contribute to covering medical costs and travel expenses associated with surrogacy. Every little bit helps, and we are so grateful for any contribution you can make.

To express their gratitude, they have come up with a beautiful idea. For each person who donates, their name will be added to a special art piece that will hang in the baby's nursery. This way, the baby will grow up surrounded by the names of all the wonderful people who played a part in bringing them into this world.
