Baby twins born with birth defects, please help

Our babies born with birth defects need your love, prayers and help!!!
Insurance coverage has been denied and while we keep submitting, we have been advised the medical procedures will be costly and ongoing throughout baby Carson's life.
January 4, 2019, at 36 weeks and 1 day, my daughter Teresa delivered her twins via C-section. Caden was 3.15 pounds, 17.5 inches and Carson was 4.12 pounds, 18.5 inches. Carson did not come out screaming or moving and was placed on oxygen and both babies were premature and taken to the NICU.
By the time Teresa was able to see the babies, 12 hours after they were born, since she had to recover from her c-section, John had to give Teresa the paralyzing news that both boys had been born with several birth defects. Caden was born with hypospadias and Carson was born with Anophthalmia and Microphthalmia.
Carson and Caden with Mommy
Anophthalmia is a birth defect where a baby is born without one or both eyes, which Carson only has one eye. Microphthalmia is a birth defect in which one or both eyes did not develop fully which Carson’s other eye is underdeveloped and we are being told he will be legally blind or totally blind- that Carson does not have photoreceptor cells to bring information back to the brain.
Carson in the NICU
Teresa and the babies have seen several specialists for both babies’ issues. All other birth defects are correctable by surgeries except the Anophthalmia and Microphthalmia.
Carson will need to be seen by specialists at Los Angeles Children’s Hospital. Children born with the condition must have a prosthetic eye/eyes fitted to help their face and skull to develop naturally. The ophthalmologist advised us that there will be lots of travel and surgeries associated with Carson’s care and development throughout his life.
Carson and mommy bonding
Even though Teresa and Johns visions of the boys playing soccer, basketball and football together, riding skateboards, bikes and running on sandy beaches and jumping into the ocean together, driving a Nascar, paintball and watching fireworks every 4th of July won’t be realized, they are already changing their future plans to include music and instruments.

We are reaching out to everyone, asking for your prayers for successful surgeries, quick recoveries and a miracle for Carson that with his underdeveloped eye, where the ophthalmologist states Carson does not have the receptors to be able to see, that Carson will be able to see mom and dad some day. We all know what our sight means to us. Sight is the most important sense for experiencing the world.

This is going to be a life long journey. Please share our story and become part of our family.
“Paying it forward” …for today. God Bless You!!!
