Baby Wren & Ari's Unexpected Medical Expenses

Hey all!

As many of you know, Brittany and Brendan recently welcomed their twin girls, Wren and Ari, into the world earlier this month. They came a few weeks early, which has lead to a NICU stay for both babies + on top of all of that, both Britt and Brendan tested positive for COVID, requiring them to isolate from their sweet new littles during those first few days of life.

On Jan 8th , Wren’s doctor found that she was born with a heart defect called TAPVR, and has since been flown down to Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis. She will need to undergo heart surgery in a few weeks and will be at Children’s for at least the next several weeks to potentially months. Ari is doing well and meeting her NICU milestones, but there is still a long road ahead for this sweet family and their new baby girls.

I trust that Britt and Brendan are resilient and are able to take on anything that comes their way, but would love to help ease the burden of costs related to the growing medical costs of their new kiddos, costs associated with missed work for both new parents, and the added cost of travel between their home in Fargo to Children’s in Minneapolis.
